There are a lot of different colors of ghosts in the Sims 3. A light blue ghost with drips coming out of it is a Sim that died because of drowning, a Sim that died of a fire will become orange and have a fire effect. Ghosts that are purple have died of hunger while white ghosts with sparkles are Sims that died of old age. Sims that died of electrocution become yellow ghosts with electric effects.
