Meiosis

Polar bodies are useless. girls and boys both have sperm cells, you cannot clone yourself and there are good reasons  that you can you could be a clone of one of your parents or your cells are a clone of your mom and some from your dad if that happened you would look really weird , haploid cells they have half of a full set of chromosomes. Siblings can look different if they have the same parents, male's chromosomes are xy but the females are xx you get the x from your mom and y from you dad only men can have y chromosomes and only females have two x chromosomes, you always have one x chromosomes from your mom you have two if you are a female, do females have a y chromosome no because, a y chromosome is a man chromosome, at metaphase 1,they are lots of  chromosomes and then two chromosomes pair together and then the two get pull apart and then migrate to another part of the cell, there is no DNA replication in propahse 2. in anaphase 2 chromatins are pulled apart into separate signal chromosomes the chromosomes area uncoil into chromatin. all of you body cells have the same mix of DNA 46 chromosomes grouped into 23 pairs, one in each pair of your mom and one from your mom, those pair of chromosomes are similar but there are not identical they contain of the same gene or alleles in the same spot for any given traits, since they are so similar we call them the pairs called homologous chromosomes. mitosis is similar meiosis except twice. the chromosomes in meiosis undergo a recombination which shuffles the genes producing a different genetic combination in each gamete, compared with the co-existence of each of the two separate pairs of each chromosome in each cell which results from mitosis. Meiosis was discovered and described for the first time in sea urchin eggs. Meiosis 2 process ends with telophase 2. meiosis was discovered in 1879 by a German biologist called Oscar Hertwitch,
