Islam, the Quran, and the Five Pillars All Without a Flamewar

Islam grew up on the east.  Mohammad was the last prophet, the five pillars are the the basic acts that you must do if you are a Sunni Muslim. The first pillar is Shahada, it means, "there is no god but god and Muhammad is god's prophet". The second pillar is Salat it means you have to pray five times a day at dawn, noon, after noon on sunset and late evening. The third pillar is Sawm, the month long fasting of Ramadan in which you cannot smoke, eat or drink during daylight hours. The forth pillar is Zak at or alms giving which non poor Muslims are required to give a percentage of they're income to the poor and lastly Hajj the pilgrimage to Mecca that Muslims try to fulfill at least in there lives to provided that they are healthy and have enough money. Mohammad society was intensely tribal, Muhammad was a member of the Kuraysh tribe, Islam has supplementary sacred texts, Muhammad stared with a city almost at the beginning. Muhammad died at 632 CE.
