There was a king called Mansa Musa ( WEIRDEST NAME EVER ) who ruled the West African empire of Mali and at 1324, he left and made the haj the pilgrimage of Mecca, and there were a lot of camels with a lot of gold and the people on them would give the people gold ( They gave the gold to a lot of different countries like Alexandria, Venice and a lot of other countries ) . Mansa Musa was a Muslim, it is really easy to know because before I said he left and made the haj the pilgrimage to mecca. Mansa Musa was born in the year 1280 and he died in the year 1337 ( 1337 in the internet means elite so should I say in the year elite? well I won' t because it won't make any sense to some people because they don't know what it means ).
